Caramel Macchiato Float
Coffee has been a constant part of my routine for as long as I can remember. I prefer my coffee iced year-round — even on chilly mornings. Hot coffee just isn’t my thing most days, so I reach for cold-brewed pitchers at home or a quick iced option when I’m on the go. If you love coffee and ice cream, this Caramel Macchiato Float offers the best of both worlds: a dessert you can sip and savor.
At home, we often keep a large pitcher of cold-brew in the fridge, but when we want convenience, Folgers Iced Café Coffee Drink Concentrates make iced coffee instant and portable. Just add the concentrate to milk and ice for a quick beverage that tastes like a café drink without the fuss. The concentrates are compact and easy to bring to picnics, the beach, or anywhere you want a cold coffee reward.

The Folgers Iced Café line includes flavors such as Caramel Macchiato, Original Latte, Vanilla Latte, and Hazelnut Latte. Each is crafted from coffee extract and a short list of ingredients; my favorite for this recipe is the Caramel Macchiato concentrate because it pairs beautifully with vanilla ice cream and a drizzle of caramel.

One clever way to enjoy these concentrates is to pack them for the beach or a picnic. Bring your milk in a refillable bottle, toss the concentrate in your bag, then mix and shake when you’re ready. It’s a simple trick that yields a café-style iced coffee in seconds.
To take this idea one step further, I turned the concentrate into a dessert float. The Caramel Macchiato Float combines creamy milk, a couple squeezes of concentrate, and a generous scoop of vanilla ice cream. Add a caramel drizzle on top and you have a decadent after-dinner treat that doubles as a cool coffee fix.

This float is quick to prepare, customizable, and perfect for entertaining or a solo treat. Use your preferred milk — dairy or plant-based — and adjust the concentrate to taste. Add extra caramel for sweetness or top with whipped cream for an extra indulgent finish.

Enjoy this easy Caramel Macchiato Float as a warm-weather dessert, an afternoon pick-me-up, or a coffee-forward finish to any meal. It’s simple to make, delicious, and just the right mix of sweet and caffeinated.
